The expiry date for Gift Vouchers purchased before 17th May 2021 has been extended by 6 months.
OUR COMMITMENT TO YOUR SAFETY
We have always considered that cleanliness is most important. We have worked with our professional suppliers of cleaning products to ensure that we have the best products to use, and we have changed many of our daily practices to minimise the risk of contracting and spreading the virus. These changes include: -
To allow for more intensive cleaning of rooms between guests, the check-in time has been moved to the later time of 3 pm. It may not be possible to have an early check-in or late check-out.
Check-in and check-out will be done with ‘social distance’ in mind.
Please come to reception to collect your key and we will direct you to your room.
We will send an e-registration form, for completion, prior to arrival.
Where possible, the payment for accommodation will be made remotely on the day of arrival using the bank card used to secure the booking. A receipt will be sent by email.
Room keys are to be left in the box in reception on the morning of departure.
Cushions, throws, hairdryers and tissues have been removed from the rooms.
During this period of higher risk, for stays of more than one consecutive night and to respect your personal space, we will service your room following the second night of any stay, and alternate days thereafter.
Please let us know if you do not require your room to be serviced.
Additional clean towels will be left in the wardrobe, additional tea, coffee etc will be left on the hospitality tray. More supplies will be available on request.
Hand sanitiser is available at entrance doors, and other areas within the building.
We ask that you please use it.
To assist with social distancing some tables have been removed from the restaurant and some chairs have been removed from the lounge. Also, the chairs have been removed from around the bar. There is no standing at the bar.
We remind all guests and customers to follow government guidelines on social distancing. Anyone breaching these guidelines will be reminded of their responsibilities and anyone persistently disregarding social distancing may be required to leave the property.
Area attraction leaflets and magazines have been removed.
Breakfast – as usual, all cooked breakfasts are made to order. But, our buffet of cereal, fruit, toast etc has been removed and must now be ordered. Therefore, there may be a slight delay in service.
Restaurant meals by advanced booking only. If possible, to guarantee availability, could hotel guests please contact us in advance of their stay.
Table service for food and drink, staff only at the bar. Therefore, there may be a slight delay in service.
There will be on-going cleaning of all public areas.
Please cancel any booking if you have any covid-19 symptoms or if you are from an area where you are advised not to travel.
If, on the remote chance, that you have to self-isolate at the Old Ginn House, you will be charged for the full duration of your stay plus an additional 3 nights as, for the safety of our staff, the room will be left for at least 72 hours after departure.
If a hotel guest or a restaurant customer shows any covid-19 symptoms, for the safety of other guests and our staff, they will be asked to leave immediately.
We remind all guests and customers to follow government rules, and that if you are from an area that is subject to increased government restrictions you must ensure that you comply with all current guidance.
